Adventure & Trekking Holidays

EWP have over 30 years experience in organising year round treks & safaris for groups of any size in many destinations. We will help you at all stages to arrange a stress-free and memorable trip.

With many years of experience EWP is a trekking and map specialist working in conjunction with other specialists around the globe.

In Tanzania we work with Zara Tours – one of the leading operators for Kilimanjaro treks and safaris. We offer treks on all of the main Kilimanjaro routes: Machame, Lemosho, Marangu, Rongai and Umbwe and also on Mount Meru. Combine one of these treks with a safari in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara and the Tarangire and end your trip with a relaxing beach trip to Zanzibar.

In Russia you can trek to the summit of Mount Elbrus taking either 8, 10 or 13 days for the challenge.

For something away from the madding crowd you might prefer to visit Morocco – a unique country combining snow covered mountains and desert areas. Take a 16 day trek on Mount M’Goun, or an 8 day trek on Jebel Toubkal, North Africa’s highest summit. Alternatively take a relaxed Camel Trek along the coast taking in the aroma of the sea air and the beauty of the dunes and the cliffs.

In Kenya we offer both safaris and treks on the beautiful Mount Kenya using the main routes of Naro Moru, Chogoria and Sirimon. Technical climbing on Batian and Nelion can be arranged with local guides for the more adventurous.

In Uganda you can trek the Rwenzori Mountains or Mount Elgon, or take a trekking safari to see the gorillas and chimps.

Our Turkey destinations include Cappadocia, St Nicholas Ways, Lycian Way and Mount Olympos.

Europe also offers us Italy and the Gran Paradiso with either a 15 day Traverse or a shorter 8 day climb on the Gran Paradiso.

For something completely different why not experience Central Asia – home to the beautiful Fann Mountains, (or simply ‘Fanns’ to some). An amazing and unique mountain area, often referred to as the ‘Gem of the Pamirs’ due to the incredible emerald green and turquoise lakes.

All our maps have been prepared by cartographers, mountaineers and guides with local knowledge. If major changes occur within a region update sheets are included with the maps. Many have been published in conjunction with West Col Productions and the Geographic Bureau.

Visit Gorillas

Uganda is also one of the most organised countries for Gorilla viewing where just north of the Virunga Volcanoes, in the Bwindi Inpenetrable Forest, several groups of gorillas have been habituated and are visited on a daily basis. There is an almost 100% chance of seeing the gorillas and it is possibly one of the best animal encounters available.

Swim with Dolphins

Swimming and playing with dolphin is another wonderful experience. Several dolphin groups are found around the island, but mainly near the south tip. Good swimmers will be able to get very close and even touch the dolphins. This is a most rewarding half-day trip that can be arranged from most parts of the island.

Enjoy Safaris

We can arrange safaris for any time of the year in Tanzania or Kenya – go wild! Treat yourself!

Experience Masai Culture

Visit one of the local Masai villages during your safari. You will have the opportunity to see traditional dance and to see inside a traditional Masai hut.

Hi Debbie, Just a quick e-mail to let you know my Kilimanjaro Trek was awesome. The whole adventure couldn’t have been better. We ended up being a group of 6 which was a really nice size. Our 3 guided Yesse, Abel & Rayson were all fantastic. Thanks for all your help in arranging the finer details. Kind regards and many thanks    Paul
