Mark Savage was, over 20 years ago, one of the founders of EWP - originally known as Executive Wilderness Programmes and established in Kenya. He is man of many talents - a superb bush mechanic,
pilot, and mountaineer. A very accomplished climber he was involved in many
first ascents in Kenya such as the original exploration of Poi and Kitchwa
Tembo in Tsavo Game Park. His first ascents included the Great Tsavo Chimney and Behemoth. His many interests have also included sailing and more recently rafting. He
is now the director of Kenya's most well-known rafting outfit. His staff
includes several qualified staff who together with his wife, Lynn, and sons
James and Marcus run several dynamic and exciting rafting and group development
programmes based at the Savage Camp (see below).
