| This magnificent trek between the ocean and dunes is conducted at the slow
relaxed pace of the camel caravan. Only a few fishermen and numerous birds
interrupt the solitude of the coast as we follow the coast passing immense
beaches interrupted by shapely dunes and sometimes breathtaking cliffs
sculptured by the sea. We pass through small oasis and occasional protected
areas such as the famous forests of argane oil trees. Camps are beside creeks
or on beaches, with numerous opportunities to swim in the ocean. Day 1 Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Marrakech. Day 2 Transfer by road to the atmospheric, ancient coast town of Essouire (2h 30m).
After visiting the ramparts of the town we start of the trek on the Cap Sim
beach where we meet our camel team. Day 3 Walk towards the marabout of Sidi Kaouli situated on a beautiful beach
encircled by sand dunes. Camp on the beach Day 4 Trek between the dunes and the sea meeting fishermen. Shower under the pretty
warm waterfalls at Sidi M'Barek. Swimming possible. Camp near the waterfall. Day 5 Continue trekking along the coast. Discover the deep caves hidden in the
hollows of the high cliffs. Camp at Sidi Ahmed Saih in a superb wild creek
amongst the argane trees bordered by an immense beach. This place is
frequented by seasonal fishermen who live in little huts. Swimming is possible. Day 6 We arrive today at the point where the Atlas Mountains finally terminate at
the edge of the sea in an argane forest. Camp near Tafedna, a little fishing
village. Day 7 Return to Marrakech in the morning. Free time to explore the town. Night in a
