 The drive from Nairobi to Poi takes about 12 hours. Allow more for problems and avoid travel in the Northern Province after dark. It is wise to find out about any security issues in advance. Once in the Ngurunit area (near Poi) the security situation is not so critical. Porters are best obtained in Ngurunit itself. There are no facilities at Ngurunit. |
