Andrew Wielochowski on the summit of Poi after the first ascent. The descent from the summit by the "Normal Route" would take a day and involves 1 or 2 abseils. Soon after this photo was taken it got dark and Ron Corkhill and Andrew spent several hours scrambling, stumbling and abseiling, in the dark, down to the lower slopes. It then clouded over and started raining heavily, eventually they managed to find shelter under overhangs where they lit a fire and managed to warm and dry themselves and having thought that they could end up collapsing of exhaustion and exposure!
