 Samburu porter below the Shark's Tooth camp. The local Samburu and Rendille are nomadic people whose only real work involves looking after their flocks. From an early age they learn how to look after themselves in the bush and they walk unafraid in the bush, armed with spears. They do not as a result make very good porters but they are fascinated by climbers and only too eager to help out with the load carrying. |
