Fairview Hotel or Country Lodge: Prices.

The prices shown include:

All transport from Jomo Kenyatta Airport or Nairobi (private vehicles entirely).
All food and accommodation on Mount Kenya. Park and camping fees.
Porters, guide and cook.
Mess tent, stools, hot water for washing, fresh foods.
Any route of ascent or descent (Naro-Moru, Sirimon or Chogoria).
The rates shown do not include any nights in a Nairobi hotel. See Fairview or the sister hotel Country Lodge (both provide gardens, near town centre, en-suite double or single rooms, B&B basis).
If hotel night in Nairobi is planned then an extra Airport to Hotel cost is incurred: US Dollars 30 per taxi.

MOUNT KENYA - TECHNICAL GUIDING

EWP can make arrangements for a local climbing guide to meet you. He will meet you on the mountain the evening before your climbing day. The trekking guide and porters will stay at the base of the climb. The costs shown do not include the basic trek cost. All the fees shown here are payable direct to the climbing guide on arrival at the mountain.

Climbers provide all their own personal climbing equipment including: helmet, harness, descender, climbing shoes, extra sling and screw gate carabiner, these items may be hired in advance at extra cost. Your contract with the climbing guide is independent of EWP. If requested EWP can provide one of their own internationally qualified mountain guides.

WHITE WATER RAFTING

The above prices are all-inclusive of equipment, guiding, lunches, cooking services and transfers either to/from Nairobi or to/from Mount Kenya (if travelling with EWP). Sometimes it may be possible to join a group already booked to raft to make up numbers. Please enquire for details

Full board camping costs include a tent with mosquito netting and bedding.

Lodge Safaris vary considerably in price depending on the quality of the lodge. The guideline price includes a private vehicle, driver guide, park entry fees, game drives and full board accommodation in a basic lodge.
Camping Safaris also include a cook and accommodation in two person tents.

Our prices above are inclusive of:

Transport, private vehicles used throughout.
All park fees, our own selected National Park approved guides & porters. Park Rangers as required.
Double skinned mountain tents for two people and sleeping mats. Stools, a mess tent and hot water for washing are provided on the mountain.
Food on the mountain is plentiful and prepared fresh by skilled cooks. Typical menus include: Breakfast - fruit, fruit juice, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, oats or muesli, egg, sausage, toast, margarine, honey and jam. Lunch - soup, chips, sandwiches, hot tea, coffee and chocolate, biscuits, pancakes with honey or jam, fruit. A picnic lunch would have a salad, sandwiches with meat, jam or peanut butter, juice, fruit and biscuits and/or chocolate. Supper - soup, cooked meat or vegetarian meal, fruit, variety of hot drinks.
Full-board on Game Park Safaris.
