Pongwe Hotel

The hotel lies a few kilometers north of the Tamarind Hotel and just north of Pongwe village, in an otherwise undeveloped area. The main buildings and several newly refurbished and comfortably-fitted accommodation cottages are set amongst shady palms beside a truly magical beach. Could this be paradise?

The resort's beautiful gardens surround 10 beach front Zanzibarian cottages. You will see various local hand crafted Zanzibarian Doors and traditional beds. All cottages have ensuite bathrooms with Moroccan Style walk in showers. Each cottage also has its own private terrace where guests may enjoy the sunrise and a leisurely breakfast.

The sea view cottages have traditional thatched roofs made from woven palm leaves and lime wash walls. There is a long boat available for big game fishing or snorkelling.
