| Basic Camping: The campsites we use all have a bar and provide and basic facilities including communal toilets, washing area and hot showers. At campsites meals are served outside using tables and chairs. In case of rain a shelter or mess tent is provided. Camping safaris are accompanied by a driver / guide and a cook. Standard tents are used unless otherwise requested. | Three campsites are highly recommended - Twiga in Manyara, Kudu near Ngorongoro, Seronera Campsite, Lake Eyasi. |
| Standard Lodges: Resemble hotel accommodation. Some lodges have swimming pools, all have bars, meals are served in restaurants. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are air conditioned. | Lake Manyara Hotel, Seronera Lodge (Serengeti), Lobo Lodge (Serengeti), Wildlife Lodge (Ngorongoro), |
| Luxury Lodges: Facilities are very similar to standard lodges, but as a rule they are located in superb surroundings. Rooms usually have very high quality furnishing and provide magnificent views over the game park. The lodges belong either to the Sopa or Serena group, the latter are more expensive and offer the ultimate in luxury. | Ngorongoro Serena (Ngorongoro), Serena Lodge (Serengeti), Ngorongoro Sopa, Serengeti Sopa, Tarangire Sopa, Serena Lodge (Manyara). |
| Permanent Tented Camps: The quality is similar to a that of a standard lodge but accommodation is in individual large canvas sided huts erected on platforms often with thatched roofs. All tents have private ensuite washroom facilities with hot showers. All have high quality restaurants and bars and some have swimming pools. Not all parks have a tented camp. Should you choose this option for a safari and the camps are not available, then standard lodge accommodation would be used and costed accordingly. | Migunga Lake Manyara, Tarangire Safari Lodge, Ikoma Bush (Serengeti). |
